I agree with you there. Always Dean tho I love Sam nearly as much because brother And I can't ever like the Destiel ship because of what the shippers have done to it. Wincest - not so much, though I know what you're talking about. I see it a lot more on my Dean RP account. SOOOOO much Wincest over there. So much it really throws me off.

It's really about who you follow I've found who will either ruin it or not by what they post and repost. I don't have nearly as many problems in the SPN fandom because I don't follow people who post that crap. I really keep a tight grip on who I follow. Kinda just have to suss that shit out.

LOL fandom ruined Teen Wolf for me TBH I didn’t get Sterek at all and thats all i ever saw so i just gave up on the show itself. I liked Scott who was supposed to be main character and is never talked about.

Yes well, in truth the SPN Destiel fandom has ruined much of the friendship that Dean and Cas had for me.

But I can't give up on the show.

And I won't do the same for Teen Wolf either because it is so very good. Especially with all of the mythical elements they've been adding and so much character growth.

It's really growing into its own and I simply can't let it go.

But I can let go of those blogs that are causing me all this strife.

Yes exactly and that’s not something that’s going to change, its who Dean is. So basically Sam is yelling at Dean for being who he’s always been. But now I wonder what happens now? Where does Dean go after this. How does he move on?

Which is why I hope for the biggest character development to Dean yet in this season (and the next if it goes that long). Who you are is constantly being redefined and changed. Dean, for a long long time, has been the brother who kept his little brother safe and alive. That is a huge defining aspect of who he is. Is it incapable of changing? A large part of me says yes because Dean grew up like this and it's always hard to change what you've learned as a child. But that would, in some way, be giving in to Dean's codependency, allowing the codependency to define who he is, when he should be defining who he is. So I hope that it can be change. And also, one can always change. It's hard as hell, but possible.

Dean needs to learn that you can be brothers who depend on each other without putting your whole life's meaning on the other. Dean needs to learn to live for himself. It's not gonna be easy taking down all the structures that he's built around Sam, but it's possible.

I really tried becoming a different fandom blog over hiatus but freaking Jensen and Dean. I care to much to just not care about them anymore. So it was hard for me. And i’m back to mostly spn again. So yeah changing fandoms is hard.

i tried transitioning into an elementary/spn blog but i couldn't even do that. i mean, i've switched fandoms before like i went from svu to spn but i ended up remaking in order to do that and i'm much deeper into this show than svu so it was easier i guess
