First off, I like the way you think about your pairings. I'm also very protective over T/S. :p I wanted to ask your opinion on the Toki/Magnus ship because to me it seems like they're both dominant personality types (taking Toki's power-boner during Dethgov into consideration) and two dominant types in a ship can only end in bitter disaster. (adds in whisper: also, I totally headcanon Skwisgaar as someone that, while dominant in day to day life, switches up behind closed doors ;) )
i think magnus and toki would never work because i dont think magnus views toki as a legit human being. toki is a tool to magnus, not a potential friend, and this wouldn’t translate into a romantic relationship. i don’t think it would have occurred to magnus to try and get toki close to him sexually, either, both in canon or in my headcanon, because i don’t think magnus would’ve caught onto any potential relationship between skwisgaar and toki or even that toki might like guys, ever. i don’t ship it in the slightest and becausr of the way it was presented in the show i have a hard time thinking about it in other contexts.
yeah, skwisgaar’s definitely a switch. i think he’d dom—and exclusively top—toki at first and then eventually sub him (though they’d continue to switch top/bottom). i feel like skwisgaar is mature on a level where he could accept this only in the bedroom or even in private; in public he’ll try to continue to show his dominance.
