30, 48 and 87 :)
30. What did you only start to appreciate because lockdown took it from you?
The ability to see friends who live just around the corner from me face-to-face. For so much of this year, that’s been outlawed, even meeting outside.
Not to be a basic bitch, but... haircuts. I’ve not had mine done since the beginning of February and my roots are, uhhh, Not Good.
Being able to get in my car and drive for an hour and be somewhere new. A lot of our lockdown and semi-lockdown periods have had tight rules about how far you can travel.
Income that is earned through work and not via government handouts.
48. Trying new baking recipes or new cooking recipes?
I went through a spell of cooking nothing but Korean food, which I’d not really attempted before!
87. Did you do something this year that you never did before?
Other than cook Korean food... I got ridiculously addicted to Animal Crossing!
ask me about 2020!
63, 73 and 87 :)
63. Did it snow where you live this year?
I don’t think so, it was just very wet which means it’s gonna snow this year :(
73. Favorite food this year?
Yorkshire pudding, chicken, and gravy. It is the most basic, plainest food going but omg I would eat it every day I do not care.
87. Did you do something this year that you never did before?
I went to Australia. That was pretty incredible. I was meant to go Bali too as part of the same holiday but it got cut short because of Rona.
Thanks for these!
end of year asks 2020

Turning- Les Mis.
They were schoolboys, never held a gun. Fighting for a new world that would rise up like the sun. Where’s that new world now the fighting’s done?

top 5 fruits :)
I’m a moron who barely knows the difference between fruits and vegetables so if there are some vegetables on this list...I’m sorry.
1. Apples.
2. Peppers.
3. Oranges.
4. Melon?
5. Onion (I think onion is the veg but let’s just ignore that ok it can count)
send me top 5/ top 10 of anything
top 5 favorite foods :)
Thank you! These are in no particular order:
5. Sushi! My usual order is philadelphia rolls, crab rolls, and salmon sashimi or yellowtail rolls if I’m really hungry.
4. Pho! Extenuating circumstances aside, my dad and I like to go down to Superior Ave and have pho and chat. I miss that.
3. My grandmother’s italian christmas cookies that she was taught to make by her italian mother-in-law. They’re basically made of ravioli dough with a mixture of mashed garbanzo beans, chocolate sauce, and citrus inside that are fried and drizzled with honey and maple syrup. She always sets some aside for me at christmas because she knows how much I love them.
2. Gyros from Steve’s Gyros at West Side Market in Ohio City. The experience is not complete without sitting on the upper level that overlooks the entire beautiful market while eating.
1. Macarons. I am a simple woman and the crunch of the outer shell and the softness of the filling is very pleasing to me.
ask me my top 5/top10 anything!
26, 47 and 98! :)
Gosh i really am doing a lot of counting today.
26. Sorry - Acoustic - Nothing But Thieves
47. Did it to myself - Orla Gartland
98. Walking After You - Foo Fighters
