Yo, check it, i had no idea you were writing a castle with Chuck storyline. And that its now finished. I went to the last chapter and was like oh my fucking god and when she said tell me our story i was on the floor. Reading the full fic tomorrow!
Wellllll... [publishing this instead of answering privately in case there are others asking, but this contains spoilers for my fic if you care at all]
It’s really more just “what if Beckett was a spy instead of a cop” but the whole setup was inspired by the disc Casey gives Sarah in the second-to-last episode of Chuck. It’s not quite “Castle as Chuck”, more like “Castle influenced by Chuck”. There are a number of very strong references and a few quotes here and there, particularly toward the end, and also I Papa Bartowski’d Jim Beckett a little (although I don’t think many people picked up on that one) but overall the story really is Caskett through and through. Anyhow, I made a point of including Chuck in the disclaimer because I got a snotty anon about it and I try to avoid those where possible.
