"Come on, dance with me." "I need you. I need us." Both from Blake hahahaha...ha send help
"Come on, dance with me."
“You’re drunk,” Shelby retorted with a smirk at her impromptu dance partner, acting as though she weren’t just as gone as he. She watched him with playful eyes as she reached for his outstretched hand. “We’re in the middle of a sidewalk!” She laughed as he pulled her in and started swaying them to music that surely must have been playing in his head. “Y’know, I’d be a much better partner if I could hear the song we’re dancing to,” Shelby commented with a smirk up at him. “Sing it to me?”
"I need you. I need us."
His words stopped her dead in place, her shouting abruptly cancelled. “Blake,” Shelby breathed his name like a promise she wanted to keep. She knew it was silly to get so scared, but after a life of being left, it sort of felt like a reflex to try to run when it got too good. But then there was Blake, standing here, saying things she didn’t realize she was so desperate to hear. “That’s okay,” She said with a soft smile. “Because I kinda need you, too.”
