send me a ⟠for an aesthetic for our characters.
Of course it doesnât make sense to you. Iâll put it in simpler terms. Your ignorance, or innocence, as you might call it is vulgar. Canât expect much from a kid raised by other kids, though.
Iâm honestly not sure if this is suppose to insult me or not
OhâŚyouâre serious?Â
 Your ignorance is offensive, kid.
How is it offensive that I didnât know about a school? That doesnât even make sense
Did you miss the part about your parents sending you to school? Did you not think that through when they agreed? I knew pretty girls could be stupid, but this is a whole new level.
Well unlike all you old people, I didnât know the school existed before I was signed up for it.Â
You wanted to see the mainland and thought going to school was to be your big opportunity to do it?Â
You are thick.
Did you miss the part about how it was my parents idea to send me to school? I knew you didnât listen to pretty girls but I didnât think it was that bad.Â
And look at that, itâs gotten even shitter.
Same reason as you, dipshit.
Because you begged your parents to check out the mainland and see what is was like and they agreed and sent you off to some stupid school where you actually have to learn?Â
Well this is all a bit shit, innit?
Ew. Why are you here?
Lost || Iris, Lucas & Melanie || 8/xx
âH-Hi,â he mumbled. Even if she looked happy, he knew there was more to it than that. They were in the middle of nowhere without any way to contact other students or better yet, the staff. âI wanna go home,â the blond whispered, wishing he knew where his sister was. Lucas didnât budge when Iris brought up the berries. Heâd eat them, sure, food was food. He was just hoping for somethingâŚmeatier. Once more, he slowly sat up, keeping himself upright with his free hand against the ground. Lucas tried peering over the brunetteâs shoulder to peek at what she was holding, the small pills a foreign matter to him. His hand smacked against his forehead when Melanie disappeared into the trees again. He wasnât sure what she was up to considering she hadnât said a word the entire duration of their grouping, her actions and strange items making him even more curious.Â
When Iris asked if he needed food, Lucas immediately nodded. âI havenât eaten in hours.â Lucas glanced up as he finished speaking, noticing the other was holding the jar of pixies. He wasted no time in scooting back across the ground, fear taking over his features. âNo! No, donât let them out!â His warning was too late, and Lucas cowered as the small green beings flew through the air. Peeking through his fingers when he heard Irisâs voice, he hesitantly nodded while looking around. âAre they gone?â
[Â Hunting & Gathering Part 1 / 3 ]
âWait!â She heard the Fair and Lovely yell for her hearing some rustling âDonât go out there! Itâs dangerous! Do you even know what youâre doing? I ran into a bear the other day!â  Melanie almost paused and turned around to gaze at her but instead kept going.  If she truly was the Bears objective then it would have tracked her down and killed her by now.  So either she just got in itâs path or itâs cubsâs were involved and Iris just got to close and it was just using defensive tactics.  Although when she returns to figure out Iris released her Pixieâs- Melanie didnât leave them behind because she could, but because she trusted her.  Simple.  Even after motioning Donât Release, pretty easy gestures to understand.  Sheâll realize how much you should never trust a complete stranger- a very Fair and Lovely stranger- and realize how much of a failure she really was.  More and more as she went further she embraced the soothing emotion this place produced, she stared at the treeâs.  The way the light seemed to cast down and leave portals of light.  `Ne vous inquiĂŠtez pas (Donât worry),` she thought so enthusiastically.  ` Il va ĂŞtre ok- un pied devant l'autre et vous trouverez Thomas assez tĂ´t (Itâs going to be ok- one foot in front of the other and youâll find Thomas soon enough),` she heard herself think seeing the best in the worse for now.  Her first task was just looking for two grades of sticks- four long but sturdy hunting sticks, sticks to help make a brace for Lucas and good wood fuel.  Her second task?  Looking for Catbrair vine- more baby staged.  Catbrair was great for what she needed to use it for, the leafâs were even editable but entirely bitter and grew all over Florida.  She could weave it with other little things,Â
as it was the only vine that wonât attract insects, birds, and animals and grows massively and doesnât rash the skin.  Just might take a little time to find it but she had a few good hours ahead of her.  While her third was more personal- feathers, Thomas, thorny vineâs, the perfect stick to make a sling-shot with.  Making sure to know her way back by the rock moundâs she makeâs with a stick sticking up.  Just in case she lost her way, just in case someone like themselves found the trail.  For better or worse little rock ant hills covered in earthly dirt never bothered no one.  Although she paused once in awhile to listen- listening was the key to understanding everything.  To be more aware of whatâs around even if the route took a longer turn.  Inhaling the fresh air as she bent down to pluck a good sturdy twig from the ground to put in the back of her book-bag she could start to feel her tongue start to stick to the roof of her mouth.  A slow walker to save her strength but not entirely quiet- her grace was as equal to someone walking on a path made of broken glass.  Walking a winding forest of untold mystery.  She just wanted to do something right.  That was when she heard the familiar but faint sound.  Stopping in her tracks, she looked around as her ears turned a bright pink.  It sounded like faint running water.  It seemed to be coming more to her right side.  Possibly connecting dots like constellations- maybe Iris might have ran into a bear because she was getting to close to the source of itâs food without realizing it.  Meaning several things- fish was possibly nearby while she found her multi-tasking tool and one of the hunting sticks she gathered and started to take a blade and make the point.  Carefully she followed the sound of faint rushing water within a major distance.  She didnât need to walk side by side the watery path to know were it was as long as she could hear it.  Taking the safer advantage then the dangerous one at least for now.  Listening, rather then the knife scrapping against the wood, and attentively searching between the gnarled treeâs for any sight of Bears or the slightest of changeâs in the forest sounds.  Although Melanie wasnât alone.  Something was following her at a very far distance but something far more smaller, and more clever than any Bear.
âPixies should never be kept in jarsâ Iris stated simply. âEvil or not, it aggravates them and they are more likely to attack the longer they are held captiveâ At least, Neverland pixies were like that, to the best of her knowledge. Although, Neverland pixies and fairies were more like tiny people with wings. Oh well, what was done was done. âThey flew away, I wouldnât worry about itâ She smiled to Lucas. She then wandered over to her little pile of berries and brought some over to Lucas. âI can make soup if youâd like, I set traps for rabbits not far from here if youâd like to come with me to check them. I know rabbits arenât ideal, but I donât have my stuff for larger animals and the bear I saw was a mother, no way Iâm laying a finger on herâ She shook her head. Although an idea struck her, if she could get the bear to trust her, maybe the bear could kill them food. Of course, Irisâs mind was thinking as if they would be here forever.Â
Lost || Iris, Lucas & Melanie || 8/xx
He was afraid of that answer, and he was afraid to know the answer of the question Iris asked about food. Lucas couldnât survive on his own, it just wasnât in him to be independent like his sister, and for that he ended up with a broken arm. âIâm L-Lucas,â he answered, his bottom lip still quivering. His uninjured arm rose to cover his face. Getting into play fights with Lulu back home never even hurt this much, his entire body aching and his mind riddled with confusion from the fall. âWhere are we?â Lucas questioned, moving his arm to view the scenery, finally noticing the other blonde in the clearing. He didnât recognize her, and that only added to his distress.Â
Lucas slowly pushed himself into a sitting position, keeping his broken arm against his chest. He didnât stay like that for long though, suffering from a dizzy spell. âPlease let there be food,â he whispered, more to himself than to the others with him. Lucas settled on his back once more and kept his tears at bay, rolling onto his left side and curling his knees against his chest. He was safe there, for now, and that was more than enough for him. The last thing the blond planned to do was move, to venture into the trees where more pixies were waiting on another target. Never again was he traveling on his own.
Looking at them both her eyeâs quickly scanned both of them more with alot of detail while the two exchanged words.  Realizing the Golden Boyâs arm was in a very critical state- either out of joint or broken.  Fair and Lovely (Iris) pointed Melanie seemed to walk over to were he pointed with a sort of grace of a baby penguin learning how to walk not so much because she was injured or in pain- she just had no real grace.  Kneeling she pulled her book-bag infront of herself.  First pulling a jar of green pixieâs.  While she pulled out a water bottle filled half-way up with blue-berries, rolling that to the Fair and Lovely.  Next, she slowly took out an un-open full water bottle.  Gazing at the female she suddenly pointed from the top to the middle of it, then pointing at the Golden Boy and herself, back to the length of water.  Hoping she understood her message- between the two drink only half.  Rolling it towards her.  Zipping up the first pocket, opening the second  zipper.  Her hands went into her book-bag as they heard something un-latch and her hands fiddling a bit they heard the sounds of something rattling- having two mini bottles of aspirin, two wraps, a few disinfectant wipes and band-aidâs thatâs all she had- with a roll of duct-tape. Shaking four aspirins into her hand.  Realizing her extended hand wasnât going to reach she kind of crow hopped until she was close enough to extend her palm out revealing four aspirins.
 Her free hand went to the smallest zipper doing a little roll towards Iris with a vintage french compass her way. Once Iris took them.  She gazed at the Golden Boyâs arm, she needed to make a sling, and she certainly wasnât going to do it with all her bandages, and duck-tape was out of the question.  Vineâs.  Vineâs and weedâs.  It might take a bit of time but she could braid a sling up, gazing passed Iris noticing a little dug up fire pit- with a little less heat coming from it.  Suddenly closing her zipperâs and slipping her book bag in her arms.  Pointing to the jar of pixieâs.  Taking her hand she would place it on the lid and start to do a twisting motion above the lid, suddenly improving that she opened the jar and let the pixieâs out.  Making a big X with her hands.  While she shook her head no.  Pointing to the jar of green pixieâs one more time.  In an odd way this was kind of fun- not talking she just hoped they or at least she knew not to release her pixieâs or touch them at all.  While she started looking around as she started to pull a few weeds near her and pointed to her braided weedâs in her hair and pointed to the Golden boy.  Slowly holding her arm like she was propping it like a sling would with a pause.  Then pointing to the treeâs she pointed to the little rock circle she had going and with her thumb stuck in her fist she popped it out with a fsh sound.  She did it a couple more timeâs as she wiggled her thumb too hoping she caught on she had a lighter.  Starting to put her book-bag back on her shoulders she did this preppy happy smile bob head thing.  Like they just had a wonderful talk.  [Melanie left the scene to hunt and gather before nightfall- will return after 3 rounds.]
âLucas, Hi Lucas, Iâm Irisâ She smiled, trying to appear comforting. âWeâre, Iâm not really sure whereâ She glanced around as if she herself had also just landed there. âBut donât worry, I have berries!â Berries werenât that exciting and Iris knew it, but it was food. Iris then looked over to watch the other girl. Whatever the girl was doing, Iris had no idea. When Melanie held out the aspirin, Iris just stared at them, having no idea what they were. She knew to never take something if you didnât know what it was and she had no idea what the tiny little pills were so she just stared at them and then at Melanie. âWhat is this?â She asked, but the girl didnât reply and was already moving onto something else. Iris then confused watched as Melanie did other strange things and then left. âWait!â Iris yelled and stood up and ran after her. âDonât go out there! Itâs dangerous! Do you even know what youâre doing? I ran into a bear the other day!â But the strange girl was gone.Â
âThat was strangeâ Iris muttered and made her way back to Lucas. âDo you need food?â She asked him, picking up the jar of pixies and examining it. These were not Neverland Fairies, that was for sure, Iris wasnât really sure what they were, but she knew that no matter what they should not be kept in containment, that was wrong. She twisted the top off and the pixies darted out and away, Iris then tossed the container behind her back. âSo food?!â Iris asked again, having not been paying attention to see if Lucas had replied.Â
Lost || Iris, Lucas & Melanie || 8/xx
Lucas was never a fan of changing locations, even if heâd been there before. This applied to the annual camping trip. After sitting around with his group, the boy grew hungry, already having eaten what he brought for the bus ride. Wandering was new to Lucas, but he was desperate for food to soothe his stomach. Anything he could get his hands on that looked or smelled edible, he grabbed as he trailed passed the trees. It wasnât until he couldnât see his group that he knew heâd made a mistake. The swarm of pixies only confirmed that, and nothing he did made them cease. Lions werenât meant to fly, Lucas knew that but it didnât stop the little green pixies. Kicking and whining to be put down was all he did, all that came to mind for the blonde until that wish came true.Â
He was beyond frightened, and his landing didnât make him feel any better. Whimpering while groaning, Lucas rolled onto his back, clutching his arm to his chest. He was afraid to open his eyes, afraid heâd be alone somewhere. Alone and without food. His entire body ached and he was nervous to move, not wanting to feel any more pain. Peeking his eyes open at the voice, Lucas saw the girl looking down at him. âIâŚIâŚ,â he trailed off, his bottom lip trembling. Heâd never been injured like this before, and all he wanted now was to go home. âWhereâs Lulu?â he asked in a strained whisper, his eyes welling up.
In the beating wings of green pixieâs, until they finally tore her away from them and swarmed away like drifting seedâs in the distance. Â Landing on her tailbone in a tangled pine shrub. Â More bruised, scratches, and minorly aching, she watched the cloud of the foggy swarm of green pixieâs vanishing, honestly waving them good-bye. Â It could have been a lot worse in her opinion. Â While she couldnât breathe, feeling the relief of being alive gave way to the panic of what had just happened. Â An alarm roared in her brain and Melanie was already checking to see if her book-bag was ok! Â Scanning everything nothing was taken, and they didnât even open the zipper compartments, didnât even try to capture there own pixieâs in the jar. Â She just fell on her back with her arms outstretched feeling the forest floor for what felt like the first time. Â Not hearing anyone at the moment the buzz of angry green pixieâs seemed to mask her hearing and over-take her hearing like the pounding of her slow-terrified heart coming to a gentle ease. Â Gazing at the sky, starting to feel the beams of sun-light gently heat up her bare skin, she just closed her eyes feeling her chest rise and fall inhaling one long breath. Â She felt the flush of fluttering rise from her stomach to her cheeks. Â Alive. Â Feeling the part of her edge of her lip that wasnât cut lift up feeling herself want to laugh a little. Â Was this the bad before the worse? That storm before the storm. Â She hasnât even hit her goal yet-Â
finding Thomas. Â Her hearing was slowly coming back- feeling her features soften. Â Hearing the gentle silence fill the air and she listened. Â Not the total kind of silence like the pixie attack as it was back in the unknown forest somewhere, because in the distance, sounding like almost background music, she could hear the insects, and birds, but close by, everything had grown quiet then the rustling. Â The type of rustling that people make and in the corner of her eye if she tried hard enough she could see two people moving from the corner of her eye. Â Slowly Melanie sat back up, stretching one arm up to the sky and the other bent in an acute angle and hovered near her ear. Her hands balled up in loose fists. Â Just like waking up from a nap. Â While her eyes searched the ground lazily as she was searching for something- her shadow. Using her index finger to gently poke at the ground from a strangers point of view but really she was using her index finger to touch her shadowâs supposed reversed index finger. Â Connecting. Â Shifting her head towards were the two unknown people were- the fair and lovely auburn, and an unhappy golden boy. Â While Melanie searched there faceâs but had nothing to say (because she didnât hear Iris). Â There was nothing much to say with strangers when they always had noâs- or always being disappointed in her for being a graceless-mistake, always being shoved into being negatively compared to her cousin and sibling shadows. Â Loose blond bed-head strands of hair framed Melanieâs face as her hair was braided in a messy-bed head crown braid (held by office clips from her journals she destroyed) Â with feathers and strands of interweave-braided weeds and sprigs of lavenderâs popping out going in one entire direction. Â The tints of black ranged from a Raven blueish to purple tint when the sun hits them, to a Crowâs rainbow luminescence. Â The edge of her left lip was long-scabbed over but freshly made smiling a little from her right side. Â Realizing she wasnât in a group-group. Â But there was no Thomas.
âI donât know where Lulu isâ Iris said softly, glance between the boy and the girl. The blond girl was now smiling? Which was interesting, Iris lived in the forest, but she hadnât been happy when sheâd landed here. Granted, Iris had been badly injured and confused, maybe this girl wasnât. âWhatâs your name?â She asked the boy looking over him again. âYouâ She pointed to Melanie. âMermaid, get over hereâ There was no use for them to be wondering around the woods alone. Iris had suddenly taken a âmotherâ role, and as soon as she realized what she was doing, she would freak out. Being a mother meant being a grown up and Iris objected to all things âgrown upâ. However she was the most capable of surviving in the woods. Sheâd just have to take it that way, as being the best so she should be in charge. Must like her father.Â
âDo you have anything in that bag?â She asked Melanie. âFood, bandages, pixie dust?â Pixie dust would be very useful right now, Iris had lost her little pocket vile of pixie dust during her fall. Sheâd figured out where itâd gone when sheâd been looking for berries one day and spotted a few floating raccoonâs. It had been a funny sight, but her little bottle of pixie had been crushed and all the golden dust gone. There was no floating above the trees to get help. âOh! A compass! Do you have a compass?â Irisâs eyes lit up. She didnât know how to use a compass, but one of them probably did and they could help. At least, the pirates used compasses to find things, except, now that she thought about it, the pirates never actually found anything, so maybe they werenât all that useful.Â
Lost || Iris, Lucas & Melanie
Iris had been sleeping for a long time, sleeping, then getting up and wandering off to find berries, hoping they werenât poisonous and returning to her little rock. Her head was still pounding and her whole body ached, but the pain had dimmed and she was able to push past it. Sheâd set up a little camp for herself the best way she could alone and injured. It mostly consisted of piles of leaves that sheâd cover herself in at night to make a blanket. Luckily sheâd been wearing a shawl and used that for actual warmth at night. Iris had also managed to make a little fire for herself, thanking her aunts for teaching her survival skills. Not once had she even thought to call out for help or try to leave the clearing in an attempt to find others. Iris had grown up in the woods of Neverland, so none of this was really all that strange to her. She knew sheâd have to find a way to survive, which she was doing, and that was about as far as sheâd thought.Â
Iris had been trying to get her little fire going again when a person was dropped into her little campsite. As he hit the ground she let out an âoh!â. A few moments later another person was brought down, and Iris let out another âoh!â. The girl had looked mostly unharmed, but the boy did not. Forgetting her fire Iris jumped up, as best as she could as she was also injured and made her way towards him. âAre you alright?â She asked kneeling down by him and then glanced to the other girl. âWhere are you from? Are you from Walt?â She hadnât seen the girl before, but the boy she was sure sheâd seen around school before.Â
Lost || Alone
Iris woke up in a clearing in the middle of nowhere. Her head was pounding and everything hurt. Every inch of her body hurt so much. She slowly attempted to stand up, but she only got as far as sitting up before her body was overcome with pain and she had to lay back down. Maybe she just needed to rest. her mother had always told her resting cured a lot more then people gave it credit for. It was very uncomfortable where she was currently so Iris forced herself to sit up again and looked around for somewhere more comfortable. There was a flat rock close by. Iris had had her fair share of sleeping on a flat rock so she carefully stood up, actually standing this time and making her way towards the rock. As she lay back down, Iris smiled to herself, this was a very comfortable rock. Her eyes slowly closed and she drifted off again.
Iris woke up periodically, for a few minuets, realized she was still in agonizing pain, and then fell back asleep. She hadnât really even been able to process what had happened yet. It was all such a blur and her mind wasnât up for the challenge when she was in so much pain. Iris was content was sleeping and waking up. It didnât even bother her that she was in the middle of the woods alone. She knew how to survive in nature, sheâd been alone in nature many times, slept out in it, never when she was in so much pain, but this wanât her first time out like this.
One of the times she was woken up by yelling. That was annoying. Iris had responded with a loud and quick: âShut Up!â and drifted off again, curling her body around the rock. How was she suppose to sleep off the pain with so much yelling?
He was a pirate boy, everything she was suppose to hate. But she was a wild girl who never followed the rules.Â
