I sculpted a pumpkin this weekend. I think the @strangerthingsnetflix Demogorgon was MADE for pumpkin carving! The head came from the top of the pumpkin (using its natural curves for the flaps of teeth), the teeth and pumpkin seeds, and the stringy stuff is from inside the pumpkin. This thing doesn’t illuminate because I needed to retain all the structure I could in order to prop the mouth on top of the ridge of the opening I cut out.

Hopefully it wins me a prize in the pumpkin carving contest being held at work this week!

Hey! I made a dino and I need some ideas for the rest of it.

He's not very sturdy on his legs just yet and I know that I want to pain him.

Does anyone have any ideas about what I should do as my next step? I was thinking maybe paper mache then a spray on finiaging coat to protect him from the elements.
