A rather large, rather wavy eyelash fungus - something from the genus Scutellinia I think.

I'm out on the lashes again. I don't really know what that means, but it is probably something to do with these very tiny, very lovely eyelash fungi - Scutellinia sp.

Scutellinia sp, the Eyelash Cup, of the family Pyronemataceae. These were found growing on the bark of a recently fallen Douglas Fir.
