"T h a t ' s a lot of books you got there... need any help carrying those?
Sig won't let me reblog If I Stay gif or photo sets because they all include Chloe cuddling up with another guy and he's getting jealous as fuck.
( can I just say I always read your tags because there is so much insight to Alma and it's beautiful? Everything you say I can see and just wish there was as much dedication and backstory to her in the book. You make her so fleshed out and it's amazing!)
Hope you don’t mind me answering this in public because I kinda want to keep this ask. Because it really means a lot to me when someone says something like this. Alma is a very complex character, because book wise you know next to nothing. And with the first movie now out you know a bit more about her past, about what she’s gone through, but still not enough to flesh her out. So I just do the same I always do when I pick a character lacking backstory, which oddly enough always ends up being morally ambiguous: get into the head of the character and try to reason everything, wanting to make them more rounded and believeable. Human. With their flaws, all the good and the bad that makes them who they are. So really thank you because this tiny Madame Prez is hard to write and I appreciate it. Bit of an ego boost, actually, but I like knowing you - or any others - appreciate the investment I have on her and the way I am developing her as time goes by.
