𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠   𝐟𝐨𝐫   𝐭𝐡𝐞   𝐬𝐚𝐤𝐞   𝐨𝐟   𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠   𝐨𝐟𝐟   𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦   ;  it wouldn’t be the first time she’s exhausted herself in the hopes of calming her anger.  and it wouldn’t be the first time she’s failed.  had captain phasma not joined she would be all out of fury, sitting on the floor of the training center, waiting for her breathing to slow before returning the weapons to their racks and making her way to her living quarters for a shower.  it seems the universe is out to get her and the force hates her on this day.  rather than being given the opportunity to relax and prepare for her next mission or awaiting orders from kylo or snoke, she is being berated.

there is no denying that the jabs have gotten to her.  in her annoyance she has made mistake after mistake, which would result in her death on the battlefield.  as a force user, as a knight of ren for force’s sake, that is unacceptable.  she should be ashamed.  but she will have her time to beat herself up later - for now her anger redirects to phasma in the form of a once clenched hand outstretching and hitting her with the weight of something unseen.  only after she has pushed phasma back does she then sweep her off her feet and drag her along the floor until she’s stopped below nova.

she has to remind herself not to cause phasma any harm and to ignore the voice in her head demanding 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡   𝐡𝐞𝐫   𝐚   𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧   𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡   𝐡𝐞𝐫   𝐚   𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧   𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡   𝐡𝐞𝐫   𝐚   𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧.

not letting up, her barely trembling hand still aiming at the captain, nova hovers above her.  there is a snarl on her lips and plain hatred in her eyes.  though she doesn’t hate phasma on any other day, she’s picked a bad time to make the knight’s nerves her toys.  breathing heavily, her free hand tightening around the hilt of her whip, she is lowering until she squats beside the restrained captain.

“don’t forget who you are speaking to,” she warns, making no attempt to hide her threatening tone.  “you may be a commander,  but i am a knight of ren.   there is simply no comparison between you and i.  my absolute best would kill you, and neither of us wants that.”  standing once again, she releases her hold and steps back.  this isn’t a fight she is in the mood for, but she won’t be treated as inferior.  certainly not by someone with absolutely no grasp on the force.

“GIVE UP, PHASMA!” Eron wasn’t sure if it was bravery or foolishness that allowed him to sound so confident in his shout, but this wasn’t the time for guessing. Facing the chromed captain wouldn’t be an easy task even when he had the Force to his advantage. The First Order just wouldn’t quit; the same could be said for the Resistance and he was here to show them how true it was.

There were few times lately where Tony woke up not knowing where he was– Or who he was next to, but this was one of those times. He stretched out and looked down at his hand, panic rushing through him as he noticed a gold band on his hand.
