1. Overview

The JS2AN-HD from ICARVISIONS (see JS2AN-HD Product Page) is an SD card-based MDVR equipped with a video telematics platform. By merging video recording with vehicle operational data, the system offers a more complete perspective of fleet activities. It not only logs GPS location and sensor readings but also documents everything happening in and around the vehicle—such as driver performance, surrounding traffic, and environmental conditions.

This MDVR enhances safety for both drivers and other road users. It supports four 1080P AHD channels plus one 1080P IP channel for high-definition recording. The unit includes two SD card slots allowing up to 2TB of storage (1TB per slot). Designed for versatile vehicle applications, the system enables integration of video evidence with fleet information for better incident evaluation and can also serve as reliable proof in insurance claims or legal disputes.

(4) Power-Off Delay Protection The integrated UPS safeguards recordings for up to 8 seconds after a complete power cut, preventing file corruption or sudden data loss.

(5) Six-Axis G-Sensor Equipped with a 3-axis accelerometer and a 3-axis gyroscope, the MDVR detects collisions, sharp turns, sudden acceleration, and harsh braking to support event analysis.

(6) Loop Recording When storage reaches capacity, the system overwrites older footage with new recordings, ensuring continuous coverage without interruption.

(7) Secure Storage Lock SD cards are protected in a lockable compartment requiring a key to open, keeping sensitive data safe from unauthorized access.
