He's pretty similar to his Mystery Incorporated characterization. Here's the description I wrote:
Pericles has admitted to having caused the disappearance of a group of kids in order to gain “knowledge.” He’s known to be sadistic, willing to cause whatever harm he needs in order to reach his mysterious goals. The gang provides a way to both reach Mr. E and find information while he is locked up.
He's deeply curious, desiring to know everything, which also feeds into a desire for power. He hopes that, by releasing the Entity, he will gain the knowledge he wants. He's also really possessive of Ricky, in a "If I can't have you, nobody can", and deeply hates Cassidy and Velma (their daughter) as a result.
However, he also has a strange friendship with Daphne's dad, who went mad after a demon killed his wife to try to get baby Daphne's soul. Their cells in the asylum are next to each other, and doctors think he might be feeding Mr. Daphne's delusions.
Before the show, Velma decides to better understand the ancient spellbook and the power burning in her and Shaggy's blood. When she hears of the Burlington Library, an old manor supposedly belonging to a powerful sorcerer, she splits from the gang to do research.
Unfortunately, not everything is as it seems in the old library.
For "Together Forever", anything for Vincent van Ghoul and the Hex Girls?
Unfortunately, Vincent van Ghoul is dead by the time of "Together Forever", died of lung cancer. He met the gang back when they were in high school, hiring them to investigate "Nightfright", and helping Shaggy, Scooby, and Daphne when the 13 ghosts were released. He developed a bond with Shaggy and left him and the gang his house. It was thanks to him that the gang developed a positive reputation in Coolsville, writing several articles about them in the local paper. Shaggy is still in touch with his kids, Wednesday and Dracula, and he occasionally gets in contact with Vincent's spirit on the other side for help.
The Hex Girls are the gang's friends and witches! They're working on the outside of Coolsville to try and figure out why the gang can't leave. Unfortunately, their ability and time to help is hampered by the fact that they're technically on tour. When Velma and Shaggy started learning magic, the Hex Girls were some of their first teachers.
