San Diego Among First Cities with AT&T's New High-Speed Internet Service for Business

AT&T Business Fiber Internet Service to Provide Speeds of up to 1 Gigabit per Second in Multi-Tenant Office Buildings 

AT&T* is now offering San Diego businesses a new U-verse® High-Speed Internet service. AT&T Business Fiber provides upload and download speeds up to 300 megabits per second,** with future plans to reach up to 1 gigabit per second. This service supports business applications such as video conferencing, working in the cloud and disaster recovery without the confines of a contract.

“Businesses can download five gigabytes of high-definition video in two minutes with speeds of 300 megabits per second,” said Tammi Terrell, vice president and general manager, AT&T Southwest and Hawaii. “AT&T Business Fiber will help San Diego businesses wanting highly secure, fast transactions and greater collaboration with customers, partners and suppliers.”

Businesses want services that help protect and virtualize their information. With AT&T Business Fiber, customers have access to an array of services in addition to high-speed Internet: network security options, online backup  and other cloud-based services. Specifically, AT&T Business Fiber can help businesses quickly and efficiently:

Upload and download large data files and images;

Share large files with employees or customers in other locations;

Upload edits to company websites;

Back up data remotely in the cloud at one or multiple locations; and

Video conference with suppliers, business partners and customers.
