Forgot to post this here before but the 28th of Feb was the 25th anniversary of Super Dollfie! Like last year I gathered all the SDs for a photo - the only new one since then is SDM Oliver.
Just a quick photo of Finn I took yesterday to celebrate Super Dollfie’s 20th anniversary.
I still kinda want to change his eyes to move away from his default look a bit (I don’t want to change his faceup though) - but still am not sure what to go with. I wish Volks didn’t glue the eyes though cos they’re a huge pain to get out.
On todays episode of ‘dolls I hardly ever take photos of’, Finn! Every time I do I think ‘maybe I’ll change his eyes soon’ and then continue to not do that.
No.6 is Finn, a Super Dollfie Cute Renee. I first discovered SDC Renee about a year after I joined the hobby, thought she was -adorable- and then saw how expensive she was on aftermarket. Right when I’d made peace with the fact that I’d never have her, Volks rereleases her. And the rerelease is so much cuter than the OG! I got mine in August 2017.
My Finn is a boy though - still thinking of changing his eyes at one point because he still had the original ones in. I don’t take enough pics of him because I don’t have many outfits that suit him. I really really love SuperDollfieCute though and hope Volks hasn’t abandoned this line.
I took my new Nikon to Fukuoka Volks for the first time. I also finally gave this guy a name - it’s Finn.
