Stage Name: DIO (Real name: Dio Brando)
Age: Unknown
History: A prolific and critically acclaimed musician in the late 80′s, DIO was the lead singer and bassist of the band “WORLDwide.” DIO was well-known for his love of everything gold, and would exclusively wear gold contacts any time the press or his fans might encounter him. Many of his outfits were commissioned from designers of the era out of actual gold.
DIO was a huge influence in the LGBT community and often spoke out and raised awareness about the AIDS crisis. He was open with his bisexuality, and gained a cult-like following prior to his disappearance. He was a controversial figure, however, not least because of his sexuality; before his disappearance from the scene, he was accused of murdering his half-brother, Jonathan Joestar. After a long and drawn out trial, the charges were eventually dismissed. Despite his proclaimed innocence, after the trial he dropped out of WORLDwide, withdrew from the public eye, and in a seeming change of heart, adopted a son. Rumors hold that said son was originally an illegitimate child he fathered through a one night stand, but DIO has not made a public statement since the end of the trial, and will not confirm or deny.
Gossip mags say he’s been seen out and about again, occasionally with a priest, and despite his reclusiveness of the past few years, seems to be ready to debut in the public eye again.

To tell you the truth, I hadn’t planned on a comeback. But the world is changing. I felt the need to re-establish myself, or be left behind. Some might say I’m already a bit of a relic, hm? I’m certainly not who I was 30 years ago. If you’re offering, though… well. I wouldn’t turn down a producer on a new single. Your track record speaks for itself. I think we’d get along.
