when sucrose is having genuine conversations with people she trusts, she will always try to meet them at eye level. while she's only 5'4" (163cm), she will either sit on a desk or find something to stand on (stacks of books, a crate, a step stool, etc.) in order to meet the eyes of someone taller than her. if someone is shorter, she has a tendency to relax her posture, or even call for them both to sit down somewhere so they'll be about even. she does this sort of compulsively, it's not necessarily subconscious because she is making the decision to, y'know, stack books and shit, but she will always try to make it an even playing field. this also applies to when she's trying to reach for something high up out of reach and she's too stubborn to ask someone tall for help. :)
