ingot is literally like a dysfunctional mutual in law to me at this point

this time it isn't ingot's fault okay his boyfriend was trapped in hell for four months (it was only a week on the material plane which is extra fucked up) and now they're convinced that they never actually got rescued and that the past few weeks they've been back were actually just a really nice dream and ingot had to beg them not to do something Really Fucking Dangerous in an effort to wake themself up, knowing that pretty much anything he said could be taken as "this isn't really ingot, this is a fiend convincing me to give up and stay in hell forever" sldfjsdf

but also. yeah I feel that lmao. every time I think about ingot's life I feel like I'm hearing stories about some girl I'd have known in high school whose mom was in a pyramid scheme and who always had the most insane interpersonal drama for no reason. babyboy is not okay. we went through a month of downtime this session and he couldn't relax because he had to spend all of it unsuccessfully convincing his partner that reality is real

The concern was heavy on Keith's face when Pidge looked up at him. He'd seen the way Pidge was behaving as of late. Of course he had. It was kinda his job as the leader to make sure the rest of the Paladins were doing well.

He knew Lance and Hunk had tried reaching out to Pidge, but it was to no avail. So, now, he was stepping in to try.

Keith was relieved when Pidge invited him into their room. He stepped inside and waited for the door to close behind him. "I kinda figured you weren't from the way you've been avoiding everyone..." he murmured. It honestly reminded him of himself back when he was grueling over the blade his mother had left him.

The only guess he had for as to why Pidge had been avoiding everyone was related to their family. At this point, Matt and their dad had been found, but Sam Holt had been sent back to Earth, and Matt had returned to help the rebel allies.

"If you wanna talk about it, I'm here to listen," he offered. "It's the least I can do after you let me confide to you about Shiro and Kuron."
