The Farmers’ Cup is being handled quite differently than most similar contests, in many many ways. 1. The Judges are being given approx a week, so they may try each entry at their leisure. (Not ten strains in an hour!) 2. Each entry is judged on it’s own merits, and there’s no need to compare one with another. 3. The entries are from as far & wide a spectrum as was possible, rather than confined to any specific parameters. This means there will be indoor, outdoor, light dep, greenhouse, hydro, soil, LED, HPS, etc, etc, etc, etc. This also means there will be everyone from multi-million dollar licensed grow facilities all the way to your local friend growing alongside her tomatoes in the back yard, and even smokable hemp. A proper cannabis contest - and one for the books. (Is anyone writing a book?) 4. NO RIGGED TROPHIES! The ballots are digital and they will be tabulated by an independent firm, and will be made available to all participants. We will only become involved in the case of a tie . . . And even then, the judges are all asked for specific comments to help aid us if this happens. 5. 8 of the trophies are hand blown custom functional rigs @nesglass .If you win one, you’ll be careful not to drop it . . . The other trophies are custom laser engraved wood @lasertrees 6. We’re using a Virtual Reality platform for the actual event, so it won’t be so ‘Zoomy” - and there might be some actual fun, and surprises. 7. Just FYI - the Judge Kits are already sick af, and they’re only getting better. It’s sold out, so I’m not trying to pitch ya, but if you’re sad that you missed out - get us your email for advanced ticket sales on the one we’re planning next!! #FarmersCup2020 #seed2turf #sdgrowsfire #sandiegocannabisfarmersmarket #sdcfm #Growers (at Southern California) https://www.instagram.com/p/CBUJQB_Hhx2/?igshid=n3zbhrim2qy
