my sister just finished reading that ranger’s apprentice book (’the royal ranger’ i think? the one that’s either the end of the series or the beginning of another one) and she just came to me to rant 

im in actual tears i remember this exact moment of reading that book and directly in the beginning being punched in the gut relentlessly
