Something new slowly coming closer, marked by the frame opening into another room:

Marta and Digna, planning to commemorate the anniversary of the "Flor Divina" perfume, while outside the diegesis, there is the anniversary of episode 269 (as @caskettmyheart has pointed out!) - March 12th, 2025, wasn't it?

Again, Marta is much more at ease with Digna, plotting company intrigue and women in business, than yesterday with the business woman she is actually dating:

Also it's the energetic "signal red" with the high-collar lesbian circus director blouse and the likewise high-closure peak-lapel suit jacket for Marta. The entire focus here? Professional. Directoras talking among themselves, past and future.

Not set against another room, but against the company building and the night: Miguel deciding to be friends with Claudia (Marco H. Medina has such great chemistry with Moreno there that I can see this going somewhere for Claudia - not that narrative should norm people on the spectrum through romance plotlines, but there should also be no exclusion from romance plotlines):

And finally Digna and that fragrant time capsule of and to the past, just as she is growing more into her role as shareholder. But you know who else could call up a perfume that was done to commemorate a relationship? Marta with "Pasión oculta" (tag backstage name: "Mi mujer").

Begoña doing it again. "Put on your coat, babe."

Okay, she doesn't say "babe", but she makes it look like it.

Still, she says "Luz, corazón". (term of endearment escalation: zero to uhaul in under 5. impressive).

As a character, Begoña is marked by taking care of people, and of course that ties into performing gender, too, as someone who plays by the rules of the bourgeoisie, but around Luz, that caretaking turns into swagger.

I am not sure how Sánchez does it, but when it comes to Luz, complacent femininity is out of the window and instead, it's "Baby you can sleep while I drive and also I'll definitely come to your window".

I mean:

And Luz, who is certainly no one's damsel in distress, will actually play damsel in distress, although to one (1) person only:

Another win for the subtextual lesbians.

As @clairedsfield has pointed out: this counts as a love scene (hands!).

If you told me that this is the moment Begoña finally pops the question? I wouldn't be surprised. How much more could she lean across the table in her handholding?

And then we're at: "let me - the most femme-coded innocent heroine of this entire shindig - get your coat for you, to make sure you're warm, and taken care of". The unexpected levels of mold-breaking daddy energy are a delight.

The decisive dialogue lines!

"Your problems are as important as mine if not more. Beause you are my friend." ("friend". also of Dorothy). And then there's that bossy little nod Begoña throws in, and Luz just starts crying.

And that's even before we get to "whatever you decide to do, I'll be by your side." Also if you commit a felony. (how am I supposed to be normal about these two?)

...I am guessing Luz said "yes".
