OR
Eve is the best friend Crowley could have, Crowley is a (flustered) flirt, and Aziraphale tries his best to be a professional.
Excerpt from this chapter:
Music slipped through the cracked door, accompanied by the tell-tale footsteps as someone danced along to the lazy rhythm. Crowley knocked lightly, but it was enough for the hinges to creak as the door opened further, revealing Aziraphale. Red in the face, with sweat running down his cheeks and neck, he looked utterly at peace as he flew about the room, arms hovering over an invisible partner.
Crowley didn’t say a word, merely leaned against the frame as he watched, enthralled. For a split moment, he was transferred back to their university years, hidden once again in the depths of an auditorium as Aziraphale danced, Anathema’s delighted chuckles in the background, both of them non the wiser about being watched. His smile only widened as he realised that, contrary to back then, he finally could announce his presence, maybe even kiss him hello.
The music stopped, Aziraphale’s heavy pants echoing in the room. Before Crowley had the chance to pick his jaw off the floor, Eve clapped him on the shoulder, slipping by him and into the room, her heels clicking merrily on the wooden floors.
“Good morning!”
