I stayed up the whole night reading Tower Of Nero. I think it is now finally dawning on me that this is really the end. The official end. The story which started 15 years ago has finally come to an end. The little 12 year old boy is now going to college. I will go back and read the books again and again but the story will not change. These books made my day. The cheered me up when I was having a bad day and put a smile on my face. As the books changed so did I. It has been around 2 years since I started reading the books. Since my friend first lent me her copy of The Lightning Thief. It started as a way to pass time during arts class but I found myself absolutely loving it. During the summer I bought my own books. All 5 of them. Then came Heroes Of Olympus and then Trails Of Apollo. I read other books too during the time too but whenever someone asks me what my favourite book is my answer is the same. 15 books, 15 years of writing. I cried when my favourite characters died but eventually accepting it. Of course it hurt to say goodbye to them but their sacrifices were important. The smile I had on when Percy and Annabeth finally got together after 5 years. This is a story I can never forget. And who said that the story has ended? The story is in our hearts. When I read about the first year campers in Tower Of Nero I felt happy and relieved. It reminded me of the 12 year old Percy and Annabeth. It’s our job to carry on the story and pass on the books as demigods. The story which made us cry and laugh, it will never end because every time a new camper comes the story starts again :)
(*SIGH*)
I felt my lungs inflate with the onrush of scenery—air, mountains, trees, people. I thought, "This is what it is to be happy."
Cant end the day without a beautiful sunset :) #reviews
