LVMH's goal is no longer to create dreams.
“The goal is no longer to create dreams, excellence and certainly not magic. No, the real challenge will be to gear up and create simple products that will satisfy the aesthetic needs of a huge population ready to consume madly and indiscriminately“ -seaborder (BTW wonderful blog about Galliano)
Oh my God! I am so suprised right now. I’ve never expected this from LVMH, I mean they never done this before. Never. They never wanted to make simply, basic, trivial and by the way boring and disgusting brands!
I think they still didn’t get it. They wouldn’t be able to erase Galliano from Christian Dior’s history. And it will be worse if they do the exact opposite of his work, because we’ll miss him more, we will miss that big creative talent
