CS Fic Rec Monday #5: “Seabrooke”

Another story I just couldn’t resist giving a shout-out is “Seabrooke” by @nowforruin  I completely love and adore this story, and even though the author has written several CS masterpieces since this one, it will probably always be my favorite.  I love the depth of characterization in both Emma and Killian that this story develops, their attraction, and the growth and healing both of them go through. Plus there’s incredible angst, tension, danger, resolution, and so much more!  I don’t want to give too much away, but it is certainly a favorite for good reason!!

hey! just finished Seabrooke! it was darker than Lost Souls, but i still enjoyed it very much! you certainly kept me on my toes as i was reading! i'm about to start These Nights, and your excitement for it has gotten me very excited too! <3 i love you so much.

It is definitely the darkest one out of the bunch! I’m sitting in a really boring finance class (seriously, he’s talking about corporate bond issuance) and it cheered me up so much to see your message! Thank YOU for being awesome and sending me so much love.

He’d give her gifts - pearls and stuff, she likes pearls right? XD

I dunno, blindfolding seems kind of moot coz of her eyepatch heheh. Maybe…having sex while still mostly clothed or something? Pretty sure that’s classified as a kink somewhere.

Whether they’d dominate or submit for your character

I’m not sure if there’d be much of that tbh. They both have trouble getting to sleep, so maybe they’d grumble at each other, or talk or I dunno I HAVEN’T INTERACTED WITH SYLVIA YET GODDAMNIT-

No cooking. Nada.
