In 2018 Martina and I went on a big trip to Mexico. Our first stop were the cenotes and so we stayed in a hotel in Playa del Carmen. Actually it should be bull shark season, but unfortunately the bull sharks had not been seen already for two weeks. Diving in caves differs in many details than normal diving. After a proper briefing we could start. On the one hand, I found it refreshing to cool down and on the other, it was totally fascinating to float in the crystal-clear water and to watch the play of light and shadow.
