What's your favorite book that you read in 2015?

I read some fantastic books in 2015, the ones that come to mind/that i recommend are as follows: for book nerds such as myself I recommend Mr. Penumbra’s 24-Hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan, and for anyone who wants to read a book that reads like a rom-com and has a main character on the autism spectrum and is so so so cute I could not put it down there is The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion (and there’s a sequel! Which I need to read!). Lastly, The Family Fang by Kevin Wilson is dark and witty and strange and I think you’d like it a lot @seachanging

15. Hardback, paperback, or e-books? paperback!!! i love paperbacks so much especially mass market paperbacks omg

14: What makes you laugh no matter what? maybe not no matter what but probably olan rogers’ video “the comeback kid” like 9 times out of 10

24: what are you looking forward to? halloween is my jam but also im definitely looking forward to escaping purgatory/high school

blue: what song do you listen to when you’re feeling down? i have a playlist of quiet jams on my phone so probably that (includes The Smiths, Grateful Dead, Iron & Wine... etc)

read: what was the last book you read? ok so there’s this book that i love called Mr. Penumbra’s 24 Hour Bookstore and the author wrote a novella prequel which I read and loved and now I have a really obscure new ship that probably no one else ships/ knows about but hey marcjax shippers hmu if you even exist

kiss: who’s your biggest celebrity crush? *tyler joseph voice* JOSH DUN

Gilmore Girls!

Favorite character: Lorelai or Jess

Second favorite character: Michelle or Kirk

Least favorite character: April

The character I’m most like: i’d say i’m a mix of Rory and Lane? I want to be like Lorelai though (except drinking away my problems and cheating on my fiance)

Favorite pairing: RORY AND JESS

Least favorite pairing: Rory and Dean (abusive asshole)

Favorite moment: when Lane mentions Rilo Kiley. no but seriously when Lorelai graduates from business school, that is such a great moment, Lorelai Gilmore is a boss (literally, she is the manager of the independence inn and then owner of the dragonfly inn) and along with that, the scene where Emily is criticizing her for being a maid and she says “I worked my way up! I run the place now!” pretty much just any moment where Lorelai shows that her past mistakes and the difficulty of being a single mother could not bring her down

Rating out of 10: 10 (later seasons weren’t as good but overall)

box office: what is your favorite film? aaaah tough question. maybe a tie between ferris bueller’s day off and juno? there’s probably something else i’m forgetting?

eau de toilette: what is your favorite scent? coffee or that tree/nature scent you smell when you’re deep in the woods

anomaly: what do you find unique about yourself? hmmm this is a weird question bc everyone’s unique, right? i mean in the most literal of senses there’s no one that’s exactly like anyone. so, everything... i guess? sorry that’s kind of a non-answer

cedar: what is your favorite season? definitely fall. leaves changing, pumpkin and cinnamon everything, l a y e r s, halloween month. it’s great

Top 3 drinks: i’m gonna take the non-alcoholic route on this one- coffee, grapefruit lemonade, and this thing called an albino squirrel (i got it once in oberlin, it’s a latte with white chocolate and hazelnut)

top 3 characteristics you love about yourself: ok um i like my singing voice, and the fact that I can’t dance, and i think i’ve got nice eyes

top 3 ways to treat yourself: bath bombs, buying new music, naps
