Yeah, I'm Sareee...Sareee I Didn't Do It Sooner!
And by "it," I mean "watch these great Sareee matches from 2023 and 2024."
We started this series reflecting on Sareee's misadventures in WWE, including what was supposed to be her best match in the company, a TV singles match against Dakota Kai. We then checked out her feud with Chihiro Hashimoto, her victory over Arisa Nakajima for the SEAdLINNNG Beyond the Seas title, and saw how Sareee has a tendency to turn enemies into partners after their feud is over. Sareee teamed with Hashimoto after their matches and then teamed with Mayu Iwatani after their match for the IWGP Women's Championship.
We then followed Sareee as she gave Marigold some stability in the company's first year by setting up a clash with Utami Hayashishita, welcoming Bozilla, and sending off Giulia to WWE. While Sareee was Marigold's main champion, she also wrestled in some high profile tag team matches under her own banner, including arguably the best match in the whole watch series, Sareee's tag match with Mayu Iwatani against Chihiro Hashimoto and VENY.
It's fair to say that Sareee is one of the best and most interesting wrestlers in the world, and I'm glad that we were able to get acquainted with her work. Sareee's in-ring appeal comes from the sense of violence and seriousness that she brings to her matches, even if they're exhibition matches for her Sareee-ISM shows, the way she expresses emotion in her matches, and the intensity and focus she brings to her matches.
As I had mentioned, I'm sure that we'll encounter Sareee again as we start checking out the best matches of 2025. In fact, the first match that we'll watch will serve as an epilogue for this series.
