DIY SEASHELL COASTERS

What you need: 

Resin

Silicone mold 

Seashells

Hair Dryer

Directions: 

Follow the directions on package for mixing the resin (mix equal parts Part A and Part B). Be sure to stir the resin for at least 2 minutes, to ensure proper setting. 

Fill the mold with 1/2 of the resin. 

Apply heat from the hair dryer to remove any air bubbles. This could take several minutes. 

Place shell/s in resin and adjust placement with a wooden popsicle stick.*

Add the remaining resin to the mold. 

Apply heat to remove air bubbles, as in step 3. 

Let molds sit at room temperature for 24 hours. 

Remove coasters from molds and enjoy! 

*If resin comes in contact with skin, wash with soap immediately.

PAINTED WINE GLASSES

What you’ll need: 

Wine glasses 

Acrylic Enamel paint 

Paint brush 

Rubbing alcohol 

Directions: 

Clean wine glasses with rubbing alcohol. 

Paint as desired on wine glasses. 

Allow glasses to air dry for 1 hour.

Place painted glasses in oven (before heating) and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Note: bake time includes time it takes oven to pre-heat

After baking, allow glasses to completely cool before removing from oven.

DIY SAND SLIME

What you’ll need: 

1/2 c school glue

1/2 c liquid starch 

1 c sand 

Directions: 

Combine glue, sand and starch in mixing bowl. 

Let mixture stand for 10 minutes. 

Enjoy!
