That's it? (THE TELINK BREAKUP)

Link couldn't believe it. He was waking up next to her, something he'd been dreaming of for so long. Watching her chest rise and fall as the waves lapping in the ocean and the gentle murmur of the island added to the scenery. They'd been together for 2 years to the day. It was their 2 year anniversary.

He was so excited to spend his final day on Outset with Tetra before they set off early the next morning. Tonight would be special for sure. He sat up in bed waiting for the captain to awaken.

Finally her eyes opened wide, to stare the boy in the face. She's so pretty when she's half asleep he thought to himself. 

"Morning princess" he said, laughing as he kissed her cheek

What's gotten into you?!

It had been about 6 months after the birth of their first born. A son, who the couple loved dearly, just as much as each other. However, Link noticed there was something off about the Hylian queen. She'd been unusually down, and not very much interested in her day to day activities. But the final straw was when he tried to comfort her by coming up behind her to hug her waist. The minute she shoved her husband away he grew furious. What in the goddesses name was up with this woman? This is not the Tetra he knew and loved.

Stop fussing over me!

Morning rose above New Hyrule, and the newly weds were just waking up. News had passed over the land that the happy couple were expecting their first little Hylian in the near future, which let everybody celebrate, as this was huge news for everybody. Link was always the caring type, but sometimes he got a little carried away.

He woke up to feeling the baby kicking which just put a smile on his face. He noticed Tetra getting up and he immediately sprung out of bed to try to assist her, while noticing her features turning south into more of a frown or even an annoyed growl.

There was a smell.

A smell that smelt...smelly.

Like...salt, but not exactly. Did the breeze have a scent? If so, it was this one, mixed in with something else.

Link had met only a small handful of sailors in his life, and had been to the nearest sea just once before, so it was no surprise that he was taken aback by the girl before him. Perhaps he was just sensitive to new things, but it seemed that, even from where he stood, he could sense the sun, sea, and sand that this girl had undoubtedly spent the majority of her life around.

"I'm sorry, but...do you--" A sneeze interrupted him, followed by a shake of his head. "Do you smell that, miss?"

"I told you this was a bad idea Tetra! How are we gonna get out of this one?!"

"Just had to go pillaging didn't you. You know that there are rules here. You might be the princess but that doesn't give you license to just go gallivanting off however you please!"

It was a long hard day for everyone. Especially the captain who you         could tell was wearing out. Link and Tetra decided to have a little alone time under the decks, just taking a 5 minute breather. Almost instantly after hands grasp each other, does the pirate collapse into his lap. He playfully chuckles, playing with her hair watching her chest rise and fall as she dreamed on. “Well look who’s the one sleeping now” he joked, kissing the top of her head and moving his arm to better support her.
