"did you match with life?" ramona asks, laughing. "i'd say i've matched with death myself... that probably sounds dramatic, but what can i say?" she shrugs, smiling lightheartedly. "i personally don't know which is worse..." but she's still here, she's still alive, so perhaps life truly was the worst match in history. ramona fiddles with a cherry lollipop before popping it back in her mouth.
"sorry about that morbid comparison, i'm, um, goth. we tend to be pretty passionate about the macabre and all." ramona waves her hand in the air. "i happen to be a fan of gothic literature myself, i tend to find beauty in everything dark. so, how's life been treating you anyway? i'm guessing... not too good?" ramona didn't want to impose too much, or assume anything, but judging by the analogy they've given, she could only wonder.
