4 course races on the 6th day of the Kitesurf Worldcup

The 6th day of the PKRA Kitesurf Worldcup in Skt. Peter-Ording provided strong winds from 14 to 19 Knots so 4 course races were held. Charles Deleau from France consolidated his lead finishing 2nd in the first race and then winning 3 times in a row. Sky Solbach (USA) moved up to 2nd overall finishing 1st and then 3 times 2nd. Sean Farley (Mexico) is 3rd after 9 races ahead of Sebastian Bubmann (SKBUe) from Germany. In the womem's competetion Gina Esteva from Spain is still in the lead but Steph Bridges (United Kingdom) is getting very close: She won all races today. Kristin Boese from Germany finished 3rd, 4th 2 times and 2nd in the last race. She is third overall and can still make it to the top with just 3 points behind the 2nd and 5 points behind the leader.

North Kiteboarding releases Raceboard

At the PKRA Kitesurf Worldcup in Skt. Peter-Ording the North Kiteboarding teamriders Sean Farley, Sky Solbach and Dirk Hanel were equipped with a new raceboard which will we released as a production board to the market in September. The board is designed for course racing and light wind.

The board is 163 cm long, 45 cm wide and very ligth due to the Custom Epoxy Sandwich construction.. The board has 15 cm G10 fins and sharp edges to give you maximum upwind performance. We compared the board to a 2008 North Phantom 145 Twintip and noticed a huge advantage going upwind which is very important in course racing or light wind.
