So let me get this straight the bills fire Sean McDermott but Cincinnati refuses to fire Zac Taylor. All I am saying is if I was the Cincinnati front office I would fire Zac today. Maybe call Sean for an interview.

The Bills fired coach Sean McDermott and promoted Brandon Beane to president after Buffalo again failed to reach the Super Bowl despite its
This just came across my feed. Unbelievable. He can't throw or catch the ball. He can't pick up the flag after blown calls. How can you blame him?
Josh deserves better and so does Sean.
Over 24 hours later and all he gets is a graphic?
Well at least everything's spelled correctly this time!

You know what's wild? There's a universe where this gets ruled a catch, Matt Prater trots out to kick the game winning field goal, and the Buffalo Bills are ONE game away from the Super Bowl.
Brandin Cooks - WR1
And here we are.
Let's start with this: You saved this franchise.
When you showed up in January 2017, the Bills were the sad-sack story of professional sports. Seventeen consecutive seasons without a playoff appearance. SEVENTEEN.
Kids who were born the day we lost the Music City Miracle were old enough to drive. The iPhone didn't exist yet. Facebook was still just for college students. We'd been bad for so long that being bad was just... who we were.
Then you walked in.
You talked about "The Process" and somehow, impossibly, went 9-7 and dragged a team led by Tyrod Taylor into the playoffs in Year One. The drought was over. I still get chills thinking about scenes from that locker room.
You gave us that moment.
The next chapter was Josh Allen.
The stars aligned for Bills fans and for the first time in almost 30 years we had the rare alignment of the right player with the right coach at the right time.
Together, you and Josh turned Buffalo into a perennial contender. Eight playoff appearances in nine seasons. Seven straight years with double-digit wins. Five straight AFC East titles. From 2019 on, only Kansas City won more games. Buffalo stopped being a fun story and became primetime Bills. Expected, respected and fun as hell to watch.
And while you shook the drought, but we never quite shook the curse:
* The 2020 Wild Card vs Houston: Up 16-0 in the fourth quarter.
* 2022 Divisional vs Kansas City: 13 seconds.
* 2024 Divisional vs Kansas City: Led 24-20 going into the fourth
* 2025 AFC Championship vs Kansas City: Led 22-21 in the fourth
Different seasons. Different rosters. Same results in the end.
At some point, the question stops being what happened and becomes why does this keep happening? Questionable in-game decisions. Conservative moments. Draft picks and roster moves that didn’t quite push the team over the top.
And eventually the realization... if nothing changes, nothing changes.
So maybe there’s something poetic about this moment.
Maybe tearing down Highmark isn’t just about concrete and steel, but about finally clearing out the ghosts of seasons past. Maybe a fresh stadium and a fresh coach are the only way you ever truly get a fresh start.
Bills fans are heartbreak experts, but we’re also endlessly optimistic.
There’s always next year. There always has to be.
So thank you, Coach.
Thank you for ending the drought.
Thank you for changing the standard.
Thank you for making Sundays meaningful and Januaries painful again.
We didn’t get the ending we wanted.
But we got an era we won't forget.
