So thrilled you got your Grace Wales Bonner Lewis fit! I honestly love it, it looks so simple at first but the more you look the more you can pick out all the details from top to toe, it's definitely his best Met Gala look yet (for me, I really enjoyed last year's outfit too though!)

i was correct w my grace wales bonner prediction! (tbf it was an easy guess lol) personally, i would rank this slightly behind the 2021 and 2024 looks but i like it! i'm very happy and proud of him tonight 💜

Hi I'm intrigued about the 'TTPD if Taylor had an editor' playlist because you're 100% up to something (and yes how did Fortnight get nominated. HOW?)

Oh of course you can see it here. I had to make some brutal cuts but I think starting the album with The Albatross instead of Fortnight made more sense if we're talking about TORTURED POETS. We need some POETRY and IMAGERY to kick us off and set the tone. And then it gets into the Down Bad / Daddy I Love Him / Who's Afraid of Little Old Me section which I just call the Taylor Alison Writing Tropes Master Class. And then MY PERSONAL TRACK 5. To ME. Is How Did It End. Like I love So Long London but I need Track 5 to be more RAW than that and How Did It End is really a stab through the heart like THAT BRIDGE. Ouch. And then I just like the grouping of The Bolter and So High School at the end like I think it shows her storytelling at it's best and they feel pure Taylor where I think some songs can get lost as Jack songs or Aaron songs. And then I just ended it with I Can Do It With A Broken Heart as a sort of New Romantics throwback like I don't think it's a very TTPD song but I had to keep it in!

HI SEANAGH RACINGLINERS!! i assign you one of my husbandos, Bradley Lord, Chief Communications Officer and Team Representative of Mercedes!

BRADLEY!!!!!! What a guy! He began as a translator for Benetton in the early 2000s before moving to be a press officer for the team (I don't have the link so I'll put this in brackets but I think he was studying under their communications officer Patrizia Spinelli [you can see an image of them here with all the press/communications officers, and i saw her in an early benetton doc series]). He then left the team at the beginning of 2008 to be a journalist (he was a Features Editor for F1 Racing for a little bit [another low quality picture for your amusement]) before going back to Renault for 2010 and moving to Mercedes in 2011. Trying to sum it up with my small knowledge of his job but he's the guy that manages all the people who "control" the image of the team. I was skimming a podcast and he kind of said he's had the same job for a while which makes sense considering he's always been involved in media/PR adjacent things like that for his entire time in motorsports.

Segue. Did you know Bradley got his double first at Oxford (wikipedia says was in English and French)? Very smart guy! Another fun thing about Bradley is that he was running a blog during his stint at Renault. You can see it here (though I haven't checked if any of the blogposts are actually alive). Though it doesn't actually explicitly say it was Bradley, the blog is written in both English/French (I mean it IS a french team but it still checks out!) and in the above article it mentions that he runs it, so I assume it's written by him under an alias.

I chose Bradley for you because of the many parallels. Journalism obviously. But I think you're insanely creative and very well spoken. You know...as our resident Livery Watch reporter, seeing your wonderful voice in your writing always brings me joy. Not just in Livery Watch but also your fics of course. Very nice and smily people. Passionate about motorsports. (AND I LOVE YOU BOTH VERY MUCH.)
