"There was a world before you existed, and there's still going to be a world after you're gone. But it's not going to be the same. Everything is different now, forever, because you were here."
Seanan McGuire, Butterfly Effects
Those big orange eyes fixed on her. “Hello, Drowned Girl,” said the turtle Vasyl. “Have you had a grand adventure?”
“I don’t think so,” said Nadya. “I had a journey, but I didn’t have an adventure, not really. I didn’t save anything important or find anything that had been lost.”
“You saved yourself,” said Vasyl. “I would think that is the most important adventure of all.”

Check out my review of Velveteen vs the Consequences of Her Actions by Seanan McGuire
I just finished rereading the Toby Daye series, and in "The Brightest Fell" Toby describes Riordan's court as being composed of daoine sidhe, folletti and selkies. There's no way that detail was unintentional, Seanan could so easily have just written that Toby detected a trace of dochas sidhe without listing the other fae. And there's no way the Luidaeg is not aware that a bunch of selkies didn't turn up to the convocation.
There are Selkies in Annwn!

— Seanan McGuire, An Artificial Night
