The slashed doublet worn by Stewart Granger in the 1953 film 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒈 𝑩𝒆𝒔𝒔 was designed by MGM costume designer Walter Plunkett. Interestingly, the doublet was reused in the 1956 film 𝑫𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒆 by Sean McClory as Count Michel Montgomery.
