Found this guy in eastern-central KY (Red River Gorge area). Size of a horsefly. Flight was sort of fluttery, more like a moth than a fly. Can't find any info on it.

She's a very beautiful golden-backed snipe fly! And she's a female. Males have enormous eyes that take up the whole head. I love her :)

I love how they use the negative side effects of toxic masculinity--higher suicide rate, etc.--as justification for why they shouldn't have to change the toxic behaviors that cause them.

Pretty much. That, and complain that women are demonizing men when they talk about toxic masculinity which is pretty much them just saying “hey, yeah we do this shit, but that’s just the way we are!” Which really sounds like they’re the ones who actually hate men because they don’t actually want to fix any of their issues and don’t want to hold any amount of accountability to themselves because apparently they’re can’t help it?

Joffrey is easily the most hated fictional character this side of Dolores Umbridge.

I can see that. He’s a rather putrid character who seems to get pleasure out of delivering pain. He’s also absurdly selfish and not all that bright. He’s easily manipulated it seems. I pretty much want all of the Lanisters, save for maybe Tyrion, to be killed off.

It’s so hard to not hate men sometimes. Knowing that a they are always the principal suspects when something bad happen to a women.

But at the same time I’m glad to know good men. Those class of guys that are good friends, good partners, good fathers, good boyfriends, good souls. I’m glad to know that in here I have one of the good ones. @seanpgilroy Thanks you for be one of the good ones, buddy!
