Man really used ALL of his energy huh? That was a big blast and it hit HARD. This training is working really well, Uraharas methods, questionable as they are, are working. He IS getting stronger

Y'know its just now hitting me how tall Hachi is. He is TALL!

This is after Ichigo's second battle with Grimmjow, the battle he was training for with the Visord. The fight was definitely tough, and it wasn't without injury for sure, but the battle was stopped by Ulquiorra after he threatened talked with Orihime, so we didn't get to see it to a final conclusion yet. Grimmjow was fighting with only ONE arm, so the damage he did was scary to say the least, he is definitely strong. Looking forward to seeing him fight again.

What a way to end an episode! Just as the final hit is about to land, Zaraki shows up and blocks it. Definitely something that would bring you back for the next episode.

Shūsuke was just hit by Ichigos ace attack, Getsuga Tenshō, but is still standing and hurling threats. He claims he will send them to Hell himself.

He gets another hit on Ichigo that has him down for a little and while that happens this bitch decides that he should brag about his spiritual pressure suppressing the Bakkōtō and preventing it from consuming his body. This allows a moment of opportunity where, as the dust in the air clears, a tired out Ichigo emerges and tries to hit Shūsuke with another wave of his Getsuga Tenshō which he unfortunately dodges.

Ichigo keeps reassuring Rurichiyo that he is fine, that she shouldn't worry for him and should focus on herself.

Shūsuke seems to take offence when Ichigo askes if he kows how many peoples lives he has wrecked with his selfish Ideas, even more so when he says that Shūsuke used the Kasumiōji clan and betrayed the soul reapers. Ichigo says he is obsessed with the Bakkōto, that he thinks his revenge gives him a free pass to do anything.

Ultimately Ichigo calls this whole thing what it is, childish, and brings out more of his hollow powers and for a certain someone to appear again briefly.

Shūsuke takes his willingness to fight on as a delusion, however is quickly put on guard by a wave of attacks. He engulfs the two of them in flames that, as they burn out, reveal the both to be injured and out of breath.

Ichigo tells him that he should stop fighting but it falls on death ears. He feeds the Bakkōtō more power which prompts Ichigo put out more of his own power. They both charge and injure each other, however it is not enough to stop Shūsuke from stabbing the Head Captain.

We then get the reveal of the real reason for his fathers death.

He realizes that he had been consumed by anger and hatred for no reason and chooses to end his life.

So the weird sword just showing him his childhood, which is supposed to spook him real good or something I wasn't very clear on this at first

Its SUPER bright too, like dude needs to look away please, that is vision problems waiting to happen.

His mum is being brought back into things again, and she just sorta??She causes problems. He falls down the stairs after pulling away from her tight grip and he starts getting upset again. After all, she's dead! She shouldn't be here!

Violence ensues pretty quick, she tries to choke Ichigo out with his shirt collar. Hanza makes his appearance within whatever the hell that was and starts to brag about his resolve, saying his is greater than Ichigos. Saying that Ichigo couldn't fight his mother because he was weak.

He doesn't want to fight Masaki, and ends up shattering the illusion, catching Hanza off gaurd and prompting him to get angry at Ichigos strength yet again.

When his Bakkōtō begins devouring more of his body, Ichigo attempts to stop Hanzas bullshit. Of course since he's the bad guy he goes on a little tangent about his family serving the kasumioji clan for ages. Hanza even says that he is fine killing Rurichiyo because the weak have no place in this world, basic bad guy stuff y'know?

This pisses Ichigo off enough that he brings out his mask to fight, much to Hanzas momentary delight. This doesn't last long since he is consumed by his blade, his ego had killed him.

That means their battle is over.

Grimmjow brought out his released form for this battle. They are both going at this HARD.

While they are fighting, there are a few Arrancars discussing whats happening, talking about primordial fear and questioning if Ichigo is truly human because of his spiritual pressure. Tier even has the thought that this battle is almost like watching a battle between two Espada.

This brings up a point that I keep thinking about as I re-watch Bleach. Ichigo is incredibly strong, he is at a terrifying level of strength at this point. Even without bringing out his mask he is able to crush powerful enemy's, its incredible to see how much strength this kid possesses.

He keeps up with Grimmjow pretty well, and his attacks are landing. Grimmjow eventually pulls a cheap move to get a hit on Ichigo by shooting of claws(?) at Orihime and Nell knowing he would step in to defend them.

Orihime is frightened when she looks at Ichigos face at this moment, it reminds her of her brother as a hollow and it worries her. She at one points says that those eyes do not belong to Ichigo, that they don't even see her.

At this point both of their hollow forms crack just a little, they are both banged up pretty bad. This isn't a concern to them however, since they keep on fighting full force despite this.

Orihime starts to call out to Ichigo, telling him he didn't have to win, he didn't have to fight for her, she just doesn't want him hurt. Of course when he hears this Ichigo decides he has some strength left in him afterall and grabs Grimmjows hand as he tries to attack. He then just fucking cuts the man real bad.

So we once again have a few of these guys in thee realm of the living. This time they are not under orders of Aizen, but rather to try and take over for themselves. I have no clue what angry,pointy and crop top plan on doing but it will probably involve some sort of over dramatic speech so-
