Ranking #1 on Google isn't enough anymore.
Ranking #1 on Google used to mean you won. Not anymore. Search happens on TikTok, YouTube, Amazon, Reddit, and AI chat tools. So your audience finds you in lots of places.
If you want consistent discovery, treat search like a network, not a single page. Try these simple moves I use with clients:
• Map where people start and finish their journey - product pages, short videos, forum threads, AI answers.
• Match the asset to the surface - product details for marketplaces, quick how-to clips for short-form video, honest Q&A for communities.
• Measure signals that matter - reviews, video watch time, community mentions, not just organic rank.
Small changes win here. You don't need a giant budget - you need the right assets where people actually look.
If you only focus on Google you miss context, trust, and buying signals elsewhere. Start by listing three places your buyers search today - then make one asset for each.
