taint {{ wadanohara; closed
After drying off and putting on different clothes and a new pair of gloves, Fenris had settled for poking and prodding around the apartment at all the technology within the household. At this point, he was sitting cross-legged on the floor and watching the news, wondering how exactly this contraption to not only move, but speak.
More than likely, it had something to do with magic. If that was the case, then Fenris would not be using this horrid 'telebeeshun' anytime soon.
Mages tainted everything they touched, after all. Eventually, they would all fall prey to the demons. That was part of what caused the outbreak of war in his world.
This is why the Circle existed. Mages, no matter how 'harmless', needed to be contained.
Interrupting his thoughts, the door to the apartment opened. In stepped a petite girl with blue clothing, and a hat the reminded him of... witches.
Standing, the elf strode over to the girl, a frown clear on his features. Even if this girl was somehow not magical... Who in their right mind would dress like a witch? It was disgusting.
"You're... Wadanohara?" He looked back over her attire and squinted at her hat. "Are you some sort of mage?"
Mage. The world rolled off his tongue with apparent disgust. Mage.
If he were to have a mage in his family, he... He wouldn't know what to do. He could beg the Sanctuary to have someone else take her in, or better yet, have them lock her away so that she presented no real danger to the common folk.
But Fenris was not one to beg. He was a free man now, and a dignified one at that. Perhaps he could approach them calmly, and explain his distaste...
Still, he felt some sort of pity for the girl... She was likely taken from her family, or perhaps they were dead. And now she was here, stuck with a brash young woman and a man that would likely shun her. Pity... Just that made him feel like gagging. Pity for mages? Pah!
The elf wrinkled his nose and turned his gaze back to the young sea witch, waiting for her response.
