Luisa and Salvia go often on hikes through the Encanto and the nearby nature. It sooths nerves and is good excersize. Luckily there is very little on their paths that they can't overcome.

jiminy has done a fair amount of traveling by boat (his mindset is 'legally i don't have to tell anyone i'm on here because they'll never notice me anyways') and it would be a Really Good first meeting idea if he was caught as a stowaway

he's sort of a thief, but a thief with a superiority complex about it, i.e. 'it's not stealing if it's stuff the humans won't miss' or 'i'm only taking stuff that i need to survive' etc. what i'm saying is i think it would be funny if they met by virtue of breaking into the same persons house to steal completely different things

he also engages in a nomadic sort of lifestyle and while he doesn't particularly enjoy traveling with people he would probably not be strictly opposed to it if it were temporary and they were headed in the same direction with nobody else to talk to, because he needs to be chatting somebody's ear off at all times. on the other hand there's occasions where he's just purposefully a nuisance because of the whole moral authority thing - in either scenario being stuck headed to the same place together, somewhat reluctantly on either side of things, might be interesting

iiii have never seen the show! ive seen both sequels but im not a huge fan of them (or any disney sequels, tbf). i'd prooobably write... maybe zazu? that or one of simba's parents, i'm not sure which one speaks more to me. i'll be honest, i'm not the biggest lion king fan in general now that i think of it. but the anxious sidekicks ARE my go-to

Bread makes my tummy feel so very, very funny. T_T I miss bread. I miss bread so much. Me having bread is playing a game of chicken I always lose at. Worth losing, though. So very worth losing. Yeah so uh. Really terrible cheese that comes in those singles? They melt really well. Otherwise I do not eat them because they taste funny outside of a grilled cheese sandwich. And I usually don't eat soup with them cause I don't eat a lot of food. Usually I can't eat more than a half of sandwich and my boyfriend lovingly makes fun of me so he'll finish my food for me. I try. I enjoy food but it's one of those things where I really have to try. But if I could I'd have it with French onion soup. (Yeah just bring on more cheese.) But when I'm having a fantastic day and I can manage it? Yeah I'll enjoy a nice grilled cheese. But it has to be with garbage cheese and garbage bread and the worst, cheapest butter you can get. ...And maybe garlic chips. Yeaaaaaaahhhhh.

It is that time of year again when people start reflecting on themselves, on life in general, and while I did join this group of people, I realized it had been a while since we spoke.

BOTANICAL HEADCANONS

● xianne ; deals with her emotions okay. but just  okay.  when faced with something too personal around anyone but her confidantes, she either redirects it, or bottles it and deals with it later. she's typically loathe to show vulnerability around others, but does carve out time for herself. and if xianne's sad, she'll cry. she tries to be true to herself.  depression  doesn't grip her much, but grief does. xianne carries a lot of grief with her —-- for  what  she's lost, who she's lost, and for the children she'll never have. xianne thinks about it all when she lies awake at night, but most times it doesn't haunt her days.

It was a good thing she was nearby! Swimming no matter the weather, as always: It made it alot easier to search and save the ship that inexplicitly slammed into some of the coastal rocks.

It was during her last haul back that one of them seemed to groggily awaken; shifting about on her shoulders as she carried them out of the water to somewhere comfortable.

“Hey hey, can you hear me? Keep to the land of the living, dear!”

Lots of people have said quite a bit already so this may just be parroting but Jiminy? Top Quality fella. Always enjoy having you on the dash and your blog has endeared me to Jiminy a lot more than I expected. He’s so 3 dimensional!

HE REALLY IS.. i've said it a million times before, i'm sure, but it irritates me so badly when people boil him down to Just the conscience thing - looking at you live action pinocchio - because he has so much more going on. like, he's a prideful little know-it-all, he's temperamental, he picks fights and he walks out on people over petty shit. he's interesting in his own right outside of just being a sidekick and if that is the propaganda i have managed to push upon everyone via this blog then i can rest happy

really, though, thank you, it means a lot to hear that people enjoy seeing him pop up on the dash and all :") i desperately need to write with you more often asap !!
