I forgot the name of the fic but it was about Shiro(who is married to Curtis) finding out that Keith died on a blades mission. Shiro grieves hard. Allura and the white lion give Shiro a chance to go back in time and save both Keith and Allura. So Shiro takes consciousness of his past self and admits his love to Keith, and now he has one chance to prevent Allura from dying and having a happy relationship with Keith.

Hey I've lost a fic and have searched all your related tags with no luck :( it's set after s8, Keith finds a kid abandoned on a dangerous planet and it turns out to be alternate reality baby lotor, who he then adopts. When he comes back to Earth he crashes into a meeting very dramatically. Shiro's unhappily married in a fancy house and Allura comes back at some point. Thank you!

Luckily for Keith, he has a cosmic wolf who can temporarily transport him to alternate dimensions to get it out of his system.

Unfortunately for Keith, he has the worst luck in the entirety of all universes, and stumbles upon an abandoned child who he ends up adopting. It just so happens that this part-Galra toddler is none other than the heir of Daibazaal himself, Prince Lotor.

I'm looking for a fic. It was post season 8, but not epilogue compliant. Some time passed between the night the lions left and the start of the fic. Keith visits Shiro at the Garrison in his quarters. He demands to be let in and to stay the night. They talk and sort their shit out. One detail I remember is Keith comes in to find Shiro texting someone he does not know. The implication was that it is Curtis. Thanks!

Hey, I know this is pretty specific, but do you have fics where Shiro actually makes an effort/grovels for Keith to be with him post season 8/marriage? I know there are a lot of fix-it fics out there, but I saw season 8 yesterday and got upset all over again, and I feel like nothing will satisfy me more than seeing Shiro actually remorseful for everythinf that happened. Thanks!

He considers the question, taking it seriously as only he could when faced with such an obvious answer. “I’m glad that neither of us is tied to the other anymore. We were never right for each other, and I think we knew it all along. That’s what makes me happy. We’re both free to find the people we’re meant to be with.”

Keith’s smile falters at that. Once upon a time, he’d hoped he was that person for Shiro. The hasty wedding, after less than two months of “dating”, was the crystal-clear message that he wasn’t, and would never be. If ten years wasn’t enough for Shiro to realize that he and Keith belonged together, no amount of time would spark the realization.

So the paladins have visions with him dying and decide to go on a quest to find him.I also remember that Keith has some Altean ancestors so the sensitivity to the fifth essence and that Pidge invades your computer and finds a video of him explaining some things. (I apologize if this has been asked before) Could you please share any canon compliant fics with Shiro/Curtis but Keith ends up meeting a Shiro clone or Shiro from an other timeline/universe, be it by chance or because one went looking for the other. Basically Keith gets a Shiro that's not married Shiro. (ps: I already read arahir's "I breathe disaster") Thank you!

Three days ago, he pulled Keith's broken body out of the Red Lion and put him in cryo in case he-- just in case. Two days ago, Allura held him while he tried not to cry, and kindly didn't point out that there was nothing to be done.

Yesterday, they crossed into an alternate reality and encountered a Voltron that managed to defeat Zarkon and remain whole, and he glimpsed that Shiro catching that Keith in a desperate, bruising kiss when they thought they were out of sight, as if they could defeat death through sheer force of will.

Today they all stand gathered in Black's hangar, pale and frozen as Keith climbs out of the battered Galra fighter.

But it's not Keith.
