Demon king Curtis: A thousand years ago he was betrayed by his betrothed and has since then refused to consider any alliance with others from the demon realm, and his bad temper over a those years have led to the dwindling population of lesser demons. This unfortunately had led to the demon Lloyd having to do a lot more work, and he's not happy about that. In an effort to please his king, Lloyd kidnaps you from the human realm and gives you to his king as a present.

Barbarian leader Curtis: You're a cook at the castle, used to prepare everything from the fanciest of banquets to the servants meals. But since the king left the prince in charge you've been repeatedly publicly humiliated by the said prince as he thinks your cooking is garbage. One night, barbarian forces storm the castle and the leader takes you with him and when he discovers who you are, makes you cook for him.
