Wet Socks

I need you.....in my shoes right now. To feel this uncomfortable yet indescribable emotion they call heartbreak.  I need you....in the feetal position between my pinky toe and right corner of my bleeding shoe. Because a wet sock is the worst feeling in the world.  Just feel how wet it is, that’s what she said. Just take it off, that’s what he said. You kept me warm. Now I’m cold.
