I yell really loud when music excites me. Sometimes I yell just to yell. Sometimes I get mad when money isn't facing the same way. I once called someone back to back over 30 times and yes, there was that one time (maybe a few) I wrapped myself in insecurity and drove by a boyfriends house. There was also that one time I moved to Philly knowing not a soul, had my car stolen, and rode around looking for the culprit for hours. I've also dedicated the past two years of my life voluntarily serving the most amazing children I've ever met. I believe homeboy JC wants me to really learn how to deal with all of me to get closer to Him It's been another hard week, but everything is and will be okay. You have to live even though you don't understand, even though it hurts, even though it's hard, even though you don't know. And that is such a beautiful space to be in if you just relinquish the control to let it happen.

Just Chill

All of this below was sparked by Butter telling me to “just.chill”. And as much as I loathe the sound of those words when heated, they are so true.I had to really check myself. I wanted to write something or say something in hopes that he sees this or that, but this is all healing for me. And if he never talks to me again, I’ll know why. But I want him to know I’m sorry, ashamed, but above all that, grateful and adore him all the more for this...opportunity. And I love him even more for it, regardless of what happens next. He should also know that i’m proud of him. Happy Valentine’s Day......

Listen, I love, love. I love spreading love but this morning I wasn't feeling it. All weekend. All week. I spiraled so low that I was bold enough to try and take someone down with me. In all my complaining, I didn't ONCE consider Jesus. (Hebrews 12:1-13‪#‎verseaday‬) How dare I?! See, boom, just like that JC came right in the clutch and told me to get my life together. I have looked in the mirror at myself, unrecognizable for far too long. There are people surrounding me that foster me into a place to see the love I should have for myself and then purge into this world. Love yourself and people just as much as you yearn to be loved.

And guess what, you? You are enough, you already have everything you need, and you are loved. You're loved by THE MAN who loved you before you were even formed! Let that marinate.
