Shout out to my #hero for his unconditional #support I'm everything that I do. I'm such a small things kind of person. I bought new shoes yesterday (if you know anything about me and my gym slippers you'll know that these runners are a big BIG deal) for 2 1/2 reasons: 1) the smaller muscles in my feet and calves are not as well trained as the big ones in my leg. While I usually run barefoot the distance is wearing on my tendons too much and so I've started doing a bit of both. 2) I have not bought myself athletic shoes in 6 years. If I want to take #seawheeze2017 seriously (2 hours is serious business) and I care about taking care of my body (I do) then I need to actually get the gear I need to fit my goals and my training. 1/2) I only meant to get one and ended up getting both on sale and I'm so excited and proud of myself! Which brings me full circle back to how much I appreciate @the_ultimate_mammal because he cares less about the reason why I bought them than he does about me buying them at all. Which is to say; he trusts and fully supports the decisions I make. Even ones as frivolous and justifiable as training shoes on sale. The little things count. Also did anyone catch that he's my hero because he's officially working as an EMT? #proud (at Wevive Fitness)
