After the show promoter Seb Normal took us to a disco where we danced to 'Les Cactus" by Jacques Dutronc. We walked home as dawn was breaking over Strasbourg and got fresh-out-of-the-oven croissants from the back of a bakery. Whilst we were eating them we watched the singer from A.H.Kraken hail a taxi and shout something about the cabbie's mother to his face, causing the driver to get out and punch him to the ground. After a couple of hours sleep at Sebs place we got on the wrong tram to the train station for our train to Paris, which if we missed would mean we'd also miss the eurostar connection back to London. We were stuck at a tram stop out in the suburbs devoid of inspiration until Vinciane took it upon herself to run out into the street and hail the first car which came along. Through some hypnotic powers of persuasion I didn't know she possessed, she managed to talk a woman and her young son into allowing 4 strangers with musical instruments into her car and speeding across town to get us to the train on time - we made it by the skin of our teeth. One of the most fun shows ever!
