It has been 62 days since the Kuroshitsuji hiatus was announced.

Sebastian’s been feeling more aligned with her feminine side of late and has adjusted her physical form accordingly. Since a change of wardrobe is also in order, the demoness shyly asked Grelle and Mey Rin if they’d be interested in going shopping together. Naturally, Miss Sutcliff leaped at the opportunity to buy matching summer dresses with her loves, and the three of them made a date of it!

(i hope ciel won't eat this one- i have a severe sweet tooth myself tho, so can't blame him)

sebagrellerin? SEBAGRELLERIN? yes. i think this specific prompt is less fit for a whole story and more made for some modern (possibly human? i usually like to keep it ambiguous tbh) AU silliness and fluff, featuring terrible humour. let's go:

(still barely narrated, and the dialogue is not. not exactly there.)

Imagine Sebagrellerin as university students that met near the end of high school, realised they were going into the same field of study, and then became fast friends. They go from acquaintances to roommates in the blink of an eye, and unsurprisingly, they end up dating. It's none of the dramatic romance you'd read about in novels. No hopeless pining, no seemingly unrequited love, no despair... Really just people realising that maybe, they could be something together. So they did! And now they're eachother's pride and joy.

None of them can imagine what their daily life would be without Grelle's spontaneous bursts of... however the hell you'd call her sudden declarations of love at 4 am when they're all working on essays due in a few hours and they definitely don't have time for theatrics and poetry. There's also Seb's constant efforts to make everyone's life easier though little gestures: if someone shows any hint of being even just a bit sad, you can bet their favourite dish is on the menu for dinner. And of course, life would be so dull without Mey-Rin's ability to create joy out of any and everything- she's the one that got them all through moving in their new apartment with fewer tears than expected, she leads study sessions with an unparalleled enthusiasm, and she never fails to cheer someone up.

Obviously, while the dynamic sounds perfect, it's also the most chaotic mess any person has ever laid their eyes upon. Not a braincell to be found here, only vibes.

Which leads us to this situation. In the middle of May, at some hour none of them is aware of because everything is too hot for their brain to comprehend the concept of time right now, the trio is having a study session. An emergency study session.

And they have no snacks.

It's not vital or anything, but Grelle is pouting and while Mey-Rin says nothing, her stomach is reciting a dramatic monologue. The only one who seems unbothered is, of course, Sebastian, who is making flashcards, since he has been done with his own work for hours and is simply helping his girlfriends study at this point. He pretends not to notice the snack problem.

Obviously, Grelle won't let him.

"You know what I'm going to say."

"I unfortunately cannot read minds, dear, so you'll have to speak."

Being the most dramatic creature on earth, she drapes herself over his desk, completely unbothered by the mess she's making.

"Will you, love of my life number two, let me starve as I'm hopelessly fighting the great threat of university finals?"

"Why am I number two?"

"Because I'm number one!" Mey-Rin says from her spot on what they have dubbed The Cold Chair, simply because some dark unexplainable magic keeps it colder than the rest of the house at all times.

Sebastian tries not to smile. He cannot give in, even though he's already thinking of it.

"Because you're still in your chair. And we still have no snacks."

"You know, either of you could go buy some. There's a place right down the street. It's extremely hot outside. I'd rather stay here."

The pout returns. But Grelle has a plan, and she has a secret weapon.

"Ah, the... puppy dog face."

It is, in fact, two puppy dog faces. The faces aren't actually that cute. But it still softens his weak, smitten heart. No point in fighting now.

"...check mate, huh?"

The puppy dog faces immediately turn into the evil joy of getting someone to do the hard work for you, and suddenly Sebastian wonders if he's dating demons, not Grelle and Mey-Rin.

He's getting the snacks.

It has been 172 days since the Kuroshitsuji hiatus was announced.

Noticing that Mey’s hands have grown chapped due to the cold and the maid’s rigorous cleaning duties, Grelle gave her a jar of lotion with a ruby-encrusted lid. Sebastian wound up having the same idea, presenting his beloved with a restorative hand cream that he made himself in a fanciful glass bottle shaped like an owl. Now Mey Rin can keep her skin nice and moisturized, yes she can!

Grelle is stitching together a Mey Rin doll to accompany the one she already made of little Sebas—soon, she’ll have stuffed replicas of both of her darlings! 😌

We've chatted about Sebastian snuggling up his human-like baes Grelle and Mey, and that seems the most logical..

But with Mey Rin being THE human bean of the group despite being the shortest, it is possible for her strong but shorter arms to wrap around Sebastian and Grelle, holding them both firmly, even if she falls asleep first still.

Their brave, beautiful, and deadly sniper and maid. Their soft warm little human. Sometimes still being awake, Grelle will just choke up a little at how precious and peaceful and beautiful the girl is lying there, hair out of pigtails and surrounding her round adorable face.

And Sebastian will definitely start purring louder in this position, where he can lower his head to rest on her bosom (in the first days he was careful for fear of hurting her there, seeing as she'd especially had to deal with a corset all day and probably didn't wish to have anything pressed upon her- But Mey Rin INSISTED he was FINE as she cupped his face in the dark.) and he feels her right arm around him, holding him closer to her.
