Our!Ciel developing a crush on/falling in love with someone and Sebastian getting jealous ♡ the demon hates that he feels jealous, for he has a hard time acknowledging the fact that he *cares* for his master, but he still can't help but wish that the boy's eyes were for him instead ♡ hehe

The duality of a demon: Sebastian wanting to literally rip Our!Ciel in half for not reciprocating those feelings while at the same time wanting to give him little kisses and wrap his arms around him and tell him how pretty he is and make him smile ♡

Bonus points if Sebastian tries to dissuade Our!Ciel from liking this person and being unable to answer when he's asked why

Glass no Hitomi is Sebaciel

Glass no Hitomi is BotA's theme song.

Yana Toboso stated that the song is supposed to be sung by a character who dedicates it to another one. She never said who they are though, and imo this is already a clue.

In the movie there's Lizzy big reveal, and we witness how she protects Ciel with her sword skills, sacrificing the cute persona she acted as in the process.

"It's fine to throw away everything, because I want to protect it"

This line fits well with Cielizzy, but the analogy with the pairing stops here if you ask me.

"I could hear the sound of you breaking from far away"

Sebastian is summoned by Ciel after the cultists' abuse. Ciel was understandably broken, and it is implied that Sebastian came from the demons' world.

"If you're burdened with the days we can't go back to, let's begin rowing into this night"

Sebastian can't revive the dead and bring back what once was in the past. What Ciel seeks from him is therefore the dark path of revenge.

"I held close your fragile future, which seemed so fleeting and broken, yet beautiful"

The one who reflects on Ciel's fate is Sebastian. After all, he's the only one who knows what is expecting Ciel because of the contract. He goes as far as calling it "beautiful", just like in the lyrics.

The holding close part also reminds me of the movie's poster:

"The reason behind the sleepless nights you were carrying in your arms can't be removed gently"

Who knows about Ciel's nightmares? Sebastian- who is also the one Ciel needs besides him when he can't sleep. Milk with honey and Sebastian's presence won't erase his trauma, but as the song continues "There's no fear here". Ciel has nothing to fear when Sebastian is by his side.

And so this part is also about them:

"It's fine to throw away everything because I will protect it with these hands"

Sebastian is throwing away everything. It may have not been made as clear as Lizzy sacrificing her, um, cuteness, but demons can die from a death scythe. Sebastian is sacrificing his life for Ciel.

The lyrics fit perfectly with what happened in Book of the Atlantic, and especially with Sebastian's cinematic record. It's definitely Sebastian singing this to Ciel.

By the way, Sid made this song. They also wrote the openings to the first season and to Book of Circus. Both of them are about Sebastian and Ciel, on top of being romantic and suggestive as hell, so if you haven't read the translations yet I recommend doing it ❤
