Thank you to EVERYONE who has sent me Asks or IMs or comments or reached out to me in regards to “Sebgate”.

I apologize if I did not get to your Ask or answer your concerns, but I am officially done accepting Asks about this topic, anon or not.  I am happy to talk offline with anyone who needs it, but I have part 15 edits to finish (so some of you don’t kill me) and other things that need my attention today. :)

Sorry, did I miss it when someone called Sebastian Stan homophobic? Really? Sebastian Stan? Sebastian, the guy who has portrayed more tortured gay characters than even RDJr??? I find that laughable and plain silly. TJ Hammond is not only one of my favorite fictional characters of all time, he's my favorite Sebastian Stan character. (Yes, even more than Bucky. Shocking, I know.) To suggest he's in any way homophobic…there are no words.

Yeah, I think I’ll always love Jack Benjamin more than any of Seb’s other characters for that reason, because that was when I first really started to notice Seb as a serious actor.  (I’d seen The Covenant, but let’s face it, no one was good in that movie. *g*)

Maybe RDJ & Seb can star in a movie together as a happy gay couple - that’d be a nice change of pace for the both of them. :D

hey, First of all, thanks for keeping up with all this. It feels more and more like a storm in a teacup. I think a lot of the frustration in the fandom comes from the shear impossibility for Marvel (or Disney rather) to make someone like Captain America a LGBT character. It would have been fantastic in this day and age. But no, but why NOT? We seek support of the idea from people like Seb, which is not really their responsibility. And people get disappointed. Don't think it's directed at you..

Thank you, and I’m not taking any of this personally, I promise.  I get that people are frustrated and need a place to vent.  And I’m here for them, as long as they’re respectful.

And I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to one day have a bi or gay Cap or Spiderman or Iron Man or for the next Deadpool movie to give us Wade in a poly relationship with Vanessa and a guy, but I’m not mad at Seb or Chris or the Russos or even Markus/McFeely for how they’re interpreting Bucky & Steve.  :)
