From Skinny Bitch to That Bitch
Hello from the ladies 💖
Because of covid I haven’t seen Frog that much the last few months so she gets all flighty around me again, but I discovered that she actually like being snuggled in my big jacket!
*sees fire* SCREAMS
just took a bunch of chicktures (chicken pictures) to use as painting references and some of them turned out pretty cute with lots of dynamic poses. the little ones were very curious and attentive but the big hens already know what a camera is and didn't care to pose for me.
one of the little Sebrights got pastybutt and needed to have their hind end cleaned off. judging by check their hind end right afterwords to make sure it was all clean it looks like that one could be a little boy. I had him on my lap while his hind end was drying and got him to really relax while petting him and partially covering him with my other hand. I think I could turn that one into a little snugglebug.
we’re still coming up with names for them, so far the only named ones are Dumpling (the one who gets sleepy easier than the others and lets their wings droop most of the time) and Dusty (dad started calling that one that because they were the first one to try to dust bathe in the woodchips) and dad’s calling the one with a deformed toe Stumpy but I think that one deserves a better name than that since that one is a sweetheart and so curious about everything.
so basically we need four more names for them, altho some may get name changes once it becomes clear if they’re a hen or a rooster.
so, if anyone has any suggestions I’m open to them. the only thing I’ve pretty much got set in stone is if any of the silkies are roosters one is definitely getting named Zeno because I am obsessed with Yona of the Dawn and Zeno’s hair is fluffy enough to compare to silkie headfloof.
so, any suggestions?
